February 27th, 2015 In further efforts to deliver a truly Bruneian at Heart banking experience, BIBD today officiated their Manggis Branch and Financing Centre, its latest in its fleet of branches to adapt the bank's signature image. The Branch and Financing Centre is located at Units No. 1-2, on the ground & first floor of the Hua Ho Manggis Mall.

The branch was officially launched today by the guest of honour, Yang Mulia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the Shariah Advisory Body of BIBD. Also in attendance were BIBD's senior management, officers and staff.

The event started with the recital of the Al-Fatihah and Surah Yassin, as well as a prayer to bless the ceremony. This was then followed by the official opening of the branch by the guest of honour, and continued with a walk-around of the newly refurbished premises.

The new BIBD Branch and Financing Centre will provide the usual array of BIBD services such as Personal Financing, Home Financing and Account Openings, Debit and Credit Card applications. Ready to serve and welcome customers at the new Branch and Financing Centre will be dedicated BIBD Officers, Customer Service Executives, Services Ambassadors and Personal Bankers.

The Manggis Branch also houses five ATMs, two CDMs and one CQM intended to provide speedy and seamless banking transactions. This new fusion of technological advancements and upgrading of its customer service delivery allows for the best achievable results as BIBD's services are better streamlined to quickly accommodate to the needs and requirements of BIBD customers.

The launching of the new branch follows in the footsteps of BIBD's Bruneian at Heart image that highlights uniquely Bruneian values that signify the Brunei and Islamic visual canvas. The upgrading of BIBD's branch network is in line with the strategic efforts embarked by BIBD on its transformation journey. The emphasis on being Bruneian at Heart brings out BIBD's commitment to the Bruneian aspirations and values, as well as its roots in Bruneian and Islamic values.

The Manggis Branch and Financing Centre will be in operation Monday until Saturday, excluding public holidays, opening at 9.00am. However, the Manggis Branch on the first floor, will close at 5.00pm while the Financing Centre on the ground floor, will close at 9.00pm, on Monday through Friday.

On Friday, both the BIBD Branch and Financing Centre will have a break between 11.00am and 2.30pm on Friday for prayers. On Saturdays, the Branch and Financing Centre will close at 2.00pm on Saturdays.
