Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 121st Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (May 2023) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 121st issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND20 million with the following details:

​Series: 121
Issuance Date: 11 May 2023
Maturity Date: 25 May 2023
Tenor: 14 Days
Rate: 3.4000%

With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND3.045 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 11 May 2023 stood at BND20 million.
