Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills Series 157

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (January 2024) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 157th issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND46 million with the following details:​

Series: 157
Issuance Date: 25 January 2024
Maturity Date: 7 February 2024
Tenor: 13 Days
Rate: 3.4800%

With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND4.010 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 25 January 2024 stood at BND61 million.
