Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills Series 155

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (January 2024) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 155th issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND19 million with the following details:​

Series: 155
Issuance Date: 11 January 2024
Maturity Date: 25 January 2024
Tenor: 14 Days
Rate: 3.5000%

With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND3.949 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 11 January 2024 stood at BND19 million.
