Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills Series 140

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (September 2023) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 140th issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND32 million with the following details:

Series: 140
Issuance Date: 21 September 2023
Maturity Date: 5 October 2023
Tenor: 14 Days
Rate: 3.5000%

With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND3.488 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 21 September 2023 stood at BND52 million.
