Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 118th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (April 2023) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 118th issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND50 million with the following details:

​Series: 118
Issuance Date: 06 April 2023
Maturity Date: 20 April 2023
Tenor: 14 Days
Rate: 3.5000%


With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.969 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 6 April 2023 stood at BND65 million.
