Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 81st Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (July 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 81st issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND50 million with the following details:

Series: 081
Issuance Date: 14 July 2022
Maturity Date: 28 July 2022
Tenor: 14 Days
Rate: 0.9000%

With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.28 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 14th July 2022 stood at BND100 million.
