Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 75th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (June 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 75th issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND22 million with the following details:

Series: 075
Issuance Date: 02 June 2022
Maturity Date: 16 June 2022
Tenor: 14 Days
Rate: 0.4200%

With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.10 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 2nd June 2022 stood at BND69 million
