Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 73rd Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (May 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 73rd issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND27 million with the following details:

Series: 073
Issuance Date: 19 May 2022
Maturity Date: 02 June 2022
Tenor: 14 Days
Rate: 0.3500%

With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.04 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 19th May 2022 stood at BND49 million.
