Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 72nd Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (May 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 72nd issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND22 million with the following details:

Series: 072
Issuance Date: 12 May 2022
Maturity Date: 26 May 2022
Tenor: 14 Days
Rate: 0.2900%


With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.01 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 12th May2022 stood at BND22 million.
