Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 69th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (April 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 69th issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND22 million with the following details:

Series: 069
Issuance Date: 07 April 2022
Maturity Date: 21 April 2022
Tenor: 14 Days
Rate: 0.1700%

With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND1.92 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 7th April 2022 stood at BND49 million.
