Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 67th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (March 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 67th issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND50 million with the following details:

Series: 067
Issuance Date: 24 March 2022
Maturity Date: 07 April 2022
Tenor: 14 Days
Rate: 0.1600%

With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND1.87 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 24th March 2022 stood at BND72 million.
