Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 61st Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (February 2022) - The Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB), is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 61st issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND22 million with the following details:

Series: 061
Issuance Date: 10 February 2022
Maturity Date: 24 February 2022
Tenor: 14 Days
Rate: 0.1400%

With this issuance, BDCB thus far issued BND1.68 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 10 February 2022 stood at BND59 million.
