Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 55th Series

The Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB), is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 55th issuance of BDCB I-Bills.

The total of the sukuk issuance was BND50 million with the following details:

Series: 055
Issuance Date: 23 December 2021
Maturity Date: 06 January 2022
Tenor: 14 Days
Rate: 0.1000%

With this issuance, BDCB thus far issued BND1,490 million worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 23rd December 2021 stood at BND72 million.
