TAIB and its subsidiaries present donation to Dana

In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) and its subsidiaries, Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sendirian Berhad and Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad handed over donations amounting to B$130,522.00 (Brunei Dollar: One hundred thirty thousand, five hundred and twenty two dollars) to the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (Dana) in a ceremony held at the TAIB’s Corporate Management Office, Airport Mall, Berakas.
The donations to Dana compromised of B$100,000.00 (Brunei Dollar:One hundred thousand) from TAIB, B$10,000.00 (Brunei Dollars: Ten thousand) from Insurans Islam TAIB General Takaful, B$10,000.00 (Brunei Dollar: Ten thousand) from Insurans Islam TAIB Family Takaful, B$10,000.00 (Brunei Darussalam: Ten thousand) from Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad and an accumulated donation of B$522.00 (Brunei Dollar: Five hundred and twenty two dollars) from the Officers and Staff of Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sendirian Berhad and its subsidiaries.
Mock cheques were presented by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Defence II, in his capacity as the Chairman of TAIB’s Board of Directors to Yang Mulia Dr. Dayang Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary for Planning, Land Use and Enviroment at the Ministry of Development as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Dana. Also present at the donations handover was Yang Mulia Pengiran Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Permanent Secretary (Industry) Ministry of Finance & Economy as the Member of TAIB’s Board of Directors and Yang Mulia Datin Hajah Hasnah binti Haji Ibrahim, Managing Director of TAIB.
