SYARIKAT Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd (Takaful Brunei) was awarded ‘Best Takaful Company Brunei’ at the 12th International Takaful Awards Summit 2018 in London, marking Takaful Brunei’s second consecutive year honour, following the first award last year.

Acting Managing Director of Takaful Brunei Haji Shahrildin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Utama Dato Paduka Haji Jaya received the award on behalf of Takaful Brunei at the award event.

Attended by various Takaful and Insurance professionals from global regions spanning from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, the award ceremony is one of the internationally respected Takaful annual events addressing challenges and opportunities.

The annual event also hosts the ‘Best Takaful Awards’ in recognition of Takaful companies’ accomplishments in their respective countries with a global solidarity among the Takaful companies. The award is a humble recognition of Takaful Brunei’s endeavours and success for being a progressive market leader in the Takaful and Insurance industry.

Takaful Brunei expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the members of the Board of Directors, Syariah Advisory Body, employees, business partners and customers and participants for making Takaful Brunei a premier institution.

TBA’s call centre allows customers to transact renewals for Motor and Fire coverages including free delivery of their Takaful certificates to their homes or offices and also offers TBA’s new comprehensive Musafir Travel Takaful package.

Meanwhile, in conjunction with celebrating Takaful Brunei’s 25th anniversary, customers are entitled to a quarterly lucky draw promotion.

Prizes of the promotion include Umrah or London package and electronic gadgets which can be easily participated upon taking up a Takaful product from either TBA or TBK.

Takaful Brunei has achieved a milestone for having 30 certified Islamic Financial Planners to further propagate the values of Islamic Finance and benefits of Takaful to the public. It also recently completed a professional course in Certificate of Insurance (CII) Professional Course, United Kingdom.

Takaful Brunei also conducts talks on Takaful Protection and Islamic Financial Planning to education institutions, and various private and government sectors, aimed at advancing the nation’s financial literacy and create a culture of Takaful savings and smart spending.
