SYARIKAT Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd and its subsidiaries, Takaful Brunei Am Sdn Bhd (TBA) and Takaful Brunei Keluarga Sdn Bhd (TBK), will be participating in the 20th Consumer Fair and will be located near the main entrance of the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas.

Takaful Brunei participates in the Consumer Fair event annually. Within the five-day fair that will run from January 24 – 28, Takaful Brunei will be showcasing their newest and best Takaful Protection products and services, such as TBA’s new Call Centre Renewal service and TBK’s Islamic Financial Planning consultations.

TBA will be offering special discounts for their popular Takaful Comprehensive Motor and Home Package as well as other selected products. This special promotion will only be given out during the 20th Consumer Fair through promotion codes on TBA flyers. The promotion codes are only valid when renewing or taking up selected Takaful products through the TBA Call Centre service at 2244000. In addition to the special rates, the customers’ Takaful certificates will also be delivered to them free of charge.

TBA will also be offering the Excess Buy Back (EBB) coverage, which covers the cost an authorised driver of a vehicle has to bear in the event of a claim. A convenient feature of this additional coverage is that it is an annual one-time contribution that is automatically reinstated after a claim. No additional contributions are required after the event of a claim to keep the additional coverage active.

Customers are given the option of paying for either 100 per cent, 75 per cent or 50 per cent coverage for their EBB, enabling them to significantly reduce the excess cost incurred. TBA is currently the first and only Takaful provider in Brunei which provides the EBB coverage.

TBK will be offering various Protection and Savings plans such as Aman Takaful, Takaful Nur Savings, Retirement Takaful and Education Takaful. The specialty of TBK’s products is the benefits of protecting the financial well-being and risk protection for the purpose of assisting individuals reach their financial goals. The common financial goals may include comfortable retirement, children’s education and even short-term savings. TBK will also be providing Islamic Financial Planning consultation services during the fair.

In addition to that, free souvenir bags filled with various Takaful Brunei merchandises will also be given to individuals who participate in a survey conducted by Takaful Brunei.
