Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills Series 163

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (March 2024) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 163rd issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND2 million with the following details: Series: 163 Issuance Date: 7 March 2024 Maturity Date: 21 March 2024 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 2.9000% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND4.084 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 7 March 2024 stood at BND517 million.
