Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 76th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (June 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 76th issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND22 million with the following details: Series: 076 Issuance Date: 09 June 2022 Maturity Date: 23 June 2022 Tenor: 14 Days Rate:0.4300% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.13 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 9th June 2022 stood at BND44 million.
