Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 127th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (June 2023) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 127th issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND10 million with the following details: Series: 127 Issuance Date: 22 June 2023 Maturity Date: 06 July 2023 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 3.45000% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND3.145 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 22 June 2023 stood at BND30 million.
