Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 119th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (April 2023) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 119th issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND36 million with the following details: ​Series: 119 Issuance Date: 20 April 2023 Maturity Date: 04 May 2023 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 3.4000% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND3.005 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 20 April 2023 stood at BND36 million.
