Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 79th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (June 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 79th issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND10 million with the following details: Series: 079 Issuance Date: 30 June 2022 Maturity Date: 14 July 2022 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 0.7000% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.18 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 30th June 2022 stood at BND32 million.
