SUCCESSFUL ISSUANCE OF BDCB ISLAMIC BILLS​ Series 137

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (August 2023) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 137th issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND45 million with the following details:​ Series: 137 Issuance Date: 31 August 2023 Maturity Date: 14 September 2023 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 3.5000% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND3.406​​ billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 24 August 2023 stood at BND80.5 million.
