Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 71st Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (April 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 71st issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND50 million with the following details: Series: 071 Issuance Date:28 April 2022 Maturity Date:12 May 2022 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 0.2200% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND1.92 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 28th April 2022 stood at BND50 million.
