Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 74th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (May 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 74th issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND47 million with the following details: Series: 074 Issuance Date: 26 May 2022 Maturity Date: 09 June 2022 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 0.3900% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.08 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 26th May 2022 stood at BND74 million.
