Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills Series 162

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (February 2024) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 162nd issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND15 million with the following details:​ Series: 162 Issuance Date: 29 February 2024 Maturity Date: 14 March 2024 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 3.4500% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND4.082 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 22 February 2024 stood at BND57 million.
