Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills Series 161

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (February 2024) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 161st issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND42 million with the following details:​ Series: 161 Issuance Date: 22 February 2024 Maturity Date: 7 March 2024 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 3.4500% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND4.067 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 22 February 2024 stood at BND42 million.
