Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills Series 158

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (February 2024) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 158th issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND46 million with the following details:​ Series: 158 Issuance Date: 1 February 2024 Maturity Date: 15 February 2024 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 3.4500% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND4.025 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 1 February​​​ 2024 stood at BND61 million.
