Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills Series 153

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (December 2023) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 153rd issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND50 million with the following details:​ Series: 153 Issuance Date: 21 December 2023 Maturity Date: 4 January 2024 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 2.8000% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND3.880 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 21 December 2023 stood at BND80 million.
