30 November 2016 Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) opened a new ATM located at KB Sentral Shopping Centre, Jalan Seri Maharaja. BIBD's newest ATM started operations on 25th November 2016, providing reliable service to shoppers and residents around Kuala Belait. The new ATM will also provide added security for customers who perform cash withdrawal as the machine is located inside the shopping centre premise. The facility will replace the current ATM located at Wisma Yakin, Jalan Pandan, Kuala Belait, which will cease operations on 30th November 2016.
The opening of the new ATM facility at KB Sentral Shopping Centre is part of BIBD's relentless efforts to provide ease and security to all our customers. We are always on the lookout to expand and improve our services, aligned with our vision to remain Brunei's first choice, says Rogayah bte Hj Samsudin, EBanking Manager.
BIBD currently has the largest network of ATMs across Brunei's four districts with a total of 56 ATMs, 20 Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs) and 11 Cheque Deposit Machines (CQMs), servicing over 100,000 customers.

In this regard, the website aims to provide access to information, analysis and insights into the Islamic finance industry and other unique Islamic economy opportunities across different sectors in Brunei. The website will help increase awareness and contribute to the growth and development of the Islamic finance industry in Brunei.
