Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 126th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (June 2023) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 126th issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND20 million with the following details: Series:126 Issuance Date: 15 June 2023 Maturity Date: 28 June 2023 Tenor: 13 Days Rate: 3.48000% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND3.135 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 15 June 2023 stood at BND20 million.
