Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 122nd Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (May 2023) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 122nd issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND10 million with the following details: Series: 122 Issuance Date: 18 May 2023 Maturity Date: 01 June 2023 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 3.4000% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND3.055 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 18th May 2023 stood at BND30 million.​
