Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 116th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (March 2023) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 116th issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND35.5 million with the following details: Series: 116 Issuance Date: 22 March 2023 Maturity Date: 06 April 2023 Tenor: 15 Days Rate: 3.3000% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.904 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 22 March 2023 stood at BND40.5 million.
