Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 112th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (March 2023) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 112h issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND40 million with the following details: Series: 112 Issuance Date: 24 February 2023 Maturity Date: 09 March 2023 Tenor: 13 Days Rate: 3.1500% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.839 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 24 February 2023 stood at BND65 million.
