Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 105th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (December 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 105th issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND50 million with the following details: Series: 105 Issuance Date: 29 December 2022 Maturity Date: 12 January 2023 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 2.0400% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.729 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22 October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 29 December 2022 stood at BND55.0 million.
