Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 89th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (September 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 89th issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND22 million with the following details: Series: 089 Issuance Date: 08 September 2022 Maturity Date: 22 September 2022 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 1.3200% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.483 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 8th September 2022 stood at BND44 million.
