Successful Issuance of BDCB Islamic Bills 84th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (August 2022) – Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 84th issuance of BDCB I-Bills. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND5 million with the following details: Series: 084 Issuance Date: 04 August 2022 Maturity Date: 18 August 2022 Tenor: 14 Days Rate: 1.1800% With this issuance, BDCB thus far has issued BND2.34 billion worth of short-term BDCB I-Bills since the maiden offering on 22nd October 2020, and the total holdings of the BDCB I-Bills outstanding as at 4th August 2022 stood at BND40 million.
