Successful Issuances of Brunei Darussalam Government Sukuk Al-Ijarah Securities 204th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (March 2022) - The Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB), agent to the Government of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in managing and administering Sukuk Al-Ijarah issuances, is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 204th issuance of Sukuk Al-Ijarah securities. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND50 million with the following details: Series: 204 Issuance Date: 10 March 2022 Maturity Date: 09 March 2023 Tenor: 364 days Rental Rate: 0.7500% With this issuance, the Brunei Government has thus far issued over BND15.25 billion worth of Sukuk Al-Ijarah securities since the maiden offering on 6 April 2006, and the total holdings of the Brunei Government Sukuk outstanding as at 10 March 2022 stood at BND305.0 million.
