Successful Issuances of Brunei Darussalam Government Sukuk Al-Ijarah Securities 195th Series

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (June 2021) - The Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD), agent to the Government of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in managing and administering Sukuk Al-Ijarah issuances, is pleased to announce the successful pricing of its 195th issuance of Sukuk Al-Ijarah securities. The total of the sukuk issuance was BND5 million with the following details: Series: 195 Issuance Date: 17 June 2021 Maturity Date: 13 June 2024 Tenor: 1092 Days (3 Years) Rental Rate: 0.1875% With this issuance, the Brunei Government has thus far issued over BND14.55 billion worth of Sukuk Al-Ijarah securities since the maiden offering on 6th April 2006, and the total holdings of the Brunei Government Sukuk outstanding as at 17th June 2021 stood at BND280.0 million.
