A MEMORANDUM of Understanding (MoU) between Takaful Brunei Am Sdn Bhd (TBA) and Continental Yachting Sdn Bhd (Continental Travel) was officially signed at a ceremony at the Continental Travels office in Gadong yesterday.
Representing TBA was its General Manager Barudin bin Haji Kudil and Deputy General Manager Mohd Suffian bin Haji Mohd Salleh, while Continental Travel was represented by its Directors Haji Zainal Abidin bin Haji Mohd Daud and Haji Mohd Fawzi bin Haji Zainal Abidin.
Chief Corporate Services Officer of Syarikat Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd (STBD) Pengiran Haji Md Suffri bin Pengiran Hashim witnessed the signing as the guest of honour.
Through the MoU, TBA will provide Continental Travel clients with the new and improved Takaful Musafir (travel insurance) for their Haj and Umrah packages.
TBA will also become Continental Travel’s official Takaful provider for the Umrah and Haj pilgrims for the next three years.
Takaful Musafir was recently upgraded with more coverage and benefits providing two comprehensive Individual Packages (Naim and Firdaus) and Family/Group Package, essential Takaful protection and benefits for travelling needs.
Thirteen coverage benefits were added on top of the existing 11, including coverage for medical expenses, loss of credit card, loss of travel documents, medical evacuation and repatriation, and baggage loss or damage while being abroad.
