Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (November 2016) - The Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD), agent to the Government of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in managing and administering Sukuk Al-Ijarah issuances, is pleased to​​​ announce the successful pricing of its 139th issuance of short-term Sukuk Al-Ijarah securities. The total of the sukuk issuance was B$ 5million with following details: Series: 139 Issuance Date: 17 November 2016 Maturity Date: 17 August 2017 Tenor: 273days Rental Rate: 0.8125% With this issuance, the Brunei Government has thus issued over B$10.3282 billion worth of short-term Sukuk Al-Ijarah securities since the maiden offering on 6th April 2006 and the total holdings of the Brunei Government Sukuk outstanding until 17 November 2016 stood at BND 373.2 million.​​​
