Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam (September 2016) - The Autoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD), agent to the Government of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in managing and administering Sukuk Al-Ijarah issuances, is pleased to​​​ announce the successful pricing of its 136th issuance of short-term Sukuk Al-Ijarah securities. The total of the sukuk issuance was B$ 100 million with following details: Series: 136 Issuance Date: 22 September 2016 Maturity Date: 23 March 2017 Tenor: 182 days Rental Rate: 0.7500% With this issuance, the Brunei Government has thus issued over B$10.185 billion worth of short-term Sukuk Al-Ijarah securities since the maiden offering on 6th April 2006 and the total holdings of the Brunei Government Sukuk outstanding until 22nd August 2016 stood at BND 455 million.​​​
